US Army Garrison Wiesbaden has placed off-limits the Euro Palace in Mainz-Kastel from 23 thru 25 February, 2018 due to an unconfirmed threat. The Euro Palace is located at Peter-Sander Strasse 39, 55252 Wiesbaden, Germany. The location is off limits to all DoD personnel, including military servicemembers, DoD Civilians, contractors and Family members.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Sunday, Jan. 28, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., members of the German Forestry Department will be on Katterbach Kaserne to reduce the number of wild rabbits in various areas of the post; these include CDC/High School/Elementary School/Airfield and the area near the water retaining basin. Residents are asked to avoid these areas as well as the dog park (due to noise that could disturb domestic pets).
This animal control process occurs twice each year to reduce the wild animal population and the associated damage they cause (physical damage to the installation and the potential spread of disease).
Community members may hear the discharge of firearms in the above mentioned areas on Katterbach Kaserne. Do not be alarmed, it is part of this coordinated and approved event.
This event will be repeated Sunday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Toy drive and delivery put smiles on German children's faces
Every year in December, U.S. Soldiers, civilians and family members living in Ansbach collect gifts and donations for children living in a care facility in Neuendettelsau.
