Members of the command were honored at the 2017 #SalutetoService game at the University of Phoenix Stadium, Nov. 9, as the Arizona Cardinals hosted the Seattle Seahawks. Soldiers interacted with fans before and during the game, providing mod demos and and virtual reality demonstrations, and also participated in the halftime show.

The John F. Kennedy Wreath Laying Ceremony was held on Wednesday October 25th, 2017. The wreath was placed to commemorate Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States. He is well known throughout the Army Special Forces community for authorizing the wear of the Green Beret and his uncompromising support to the regiment.

Join us in wishing a very happy 100th birthday to Doris Baker!

Doris was inducted as an Honorary Member of the #SpecialForces Regiment in 2014. From 1950-1979 she served as a Department of Defense teacher and principal of the U.S. Army Elementary and Junior High Schools in Flint Kaserne, Bad Tolz, Germany, the first overseas assignment base for 1st Battalion, 10th Special Forces Group-Airborne. Her dedication to the Family members and #Soldiers of 1st Bn., 10th SFG (A) earned her a special place in our hearts and in the Regiment.

Farewell to Maj. Gen. James E. Kraft Jr., who relinquished command of 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) to Maj. Gen. Francis M. Beaudette during a change of command ceremony today. Kraft served as the commanding general of 1st SFC (A) since August 2015.
