Read how we celebrated the “Month of the Military Child” with over 200 Fort Drum children, endearingly known as "Army Brats", during a special recognition event Saturday at the United Service Organization at Fort Drum. The children toured the Fort Drum museum and participated in military themed activities, including a design-your-own military patch station, a push-up competition and a ruck sack competition. Col. Morgan, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division Commander, honored the children by handing them 4-H Challenge Coins.

From across the Brigade, here are some of your #MountainWarrior accomplishments and our recognitions! Everyday, 1BCT Soldiers prove that we are #MountainStrong, and if we can't find a way, we make one! Select photos to see our Soldiers on their #ClimbToGlory!

Mount Belvedere! 1-32 Infantry leadership, led by MAJ Corbett Baxter, and currently deployed to Vicenza while supporting our U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) Regionally Aligned Forces mission, recently climbed Mount Belvedere, where they observed Riva Ridge (in the background) and took a photo at the 10th Mountain Division memorial. This was an invaluable opportunity for Chosin Soldiers to walk in the same steps of our WWII heroes and appreciate our Division's continued Climb to Glory. #ClimbToGlory, #MountainWarrior, #CHOSIN!!
