Tomorrow, the Battle Group Poland will host its 2nd transfer of authority ceremony as 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment (War Eagles) commander, LTC Adam Lackey, assumes command of the BGP.

In addition, our Croatian, Romanian and British allies have rotated their troops on ground in continued support of the NATO enhanced Forward Presence initiative.

April is SHARP awareness month.

Soldiers, civilians and family members on Rose Barracks participated in the SHARP buddy run today to show their support of the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program.
The SHARP program provides education to prevent sexual harassment and sexual assaults before they occur and encourages a climate that respects the dignity of every member of the Army.

This two-week exercise served as a validation of new digital fire support equipment recently fielded to the Saber SQDN. Forty-four #2CR Soldiers graduated from Department of the Army Retention Training conducted at Tower Barracks, Germany from 9-12 April 2018. Instructors from the Recruiting and Retention School at FT Knox, KY delivered the training. These Soldiers will assume duties as Troop/Battery Retention NCOs increasing the effectiveness of the regimental retention program. #AlwaysReady

Scalpel Medics from C Troop, 2CR, Regimental Support Squadron enhance their casualty care skills during a validation exercise in the Grafenwoehr Training Area.

Army medical personnel are required to provide health services in diverse locations and environments. The combat medics and medical providers of C Troop manage a Role 2 treatment facility, which includes basic and emergency primary care with laboratory and radiographic capabilities. #AlwaysReady

Sgt. Emily Kiniskey of Del Rio, Texas, Sgt. StaceyAnn Tanielu of Saint Mary, Jamaica and 2nd Lt. Tyler McKinney of South Canaan, Pennsylvania are currently providing fuel support during the 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment (War Eagles)'s movement to the Battle Group Poland.

McKinney and Tanielu, members of the Petroleum, Oil and Lubricant Platoon, Alpha Troop, 2CR, Regimental Support Squadron, have been working hand-in-hand with Kiniskey, a member of the the fuel team from Dakota Troop, 1/2CR, in order to assist with distributing nearly 5,500 gallons of fuel in the last week. #MeetYourArmy #AlwaysReady
