The Regional Contracting Office (RCOW), Wiesbaden celebrates the 409th CSB's 10th anniversary with R-"COW" themed cupcakes.
R-COW enjoys a visit from COL Lowrey and CSM Carr for a fiscal year-end pot luck. COL Lowrey took the opportunity to give Commander's coins to Jeannie Botteri for her award of an emergency tree trimming contract and Dana Justice for graduating from the Defense Civilian Emerging Leader Program.
Congratulations to Dana Justice, Contracting Officer at the Regional Contracting Office, Wiesbaden (R-COW) for her completion of the Defense Civilian Emerging Leader Program! The R-COW team celebrated her accomplishment with some fresh German pastries.
SSG. Jared Casey(right), a member of the 409th CSB S3 team, received a $300 gift card from AAFES. The card was presented by the COL Scott McFarland- Commander, Exchange Europe and SW Asia Region(center) and SGM Eliecer Quintero, Jr-Senior Enlisted Advisor, Exchange Europe and SW Asia Region(far left). SSG Casey earned the title of AMC soldier of the year. His hard work and dedication were recognized by the AAFES command team. SSG Casey took the time to acknowledge his wife for her support throughout his quest to become the All Army NCO of the Year.
The 409th CSB Command team was on hand to lend their support to SSG Casey and his wife as they accepted the reward.

Ladies and Gentleman please join COL Lowrey and CSM Carr as they congratulate SSG Jared Casey(r) for earning the Title of “409th CSB NCO of The Year”. SSG Casey competed against three NCOs over the course of three days. Each of the competitors endured a PT Test, Formal Board, Obstacle Course, Essay, Day and Night Land Navigation, Firing Range and a Twelve Mile Ruck March. They all worked hard, but it was SSG Casey that emerged victorious.
Join COL Lowrey, Dr. Michaels and CSM Carr as they congratulate the "409th CSB HQ Employee of the Month", Mr. Thilo Loewe. Mr. Loewe is a local national and a member of the Field Support Division. His tireless efforts help to keep the BDE on track. Mr. Loewe's attention to detail and dedication to the mission have earned him this honor for the month of January.
