Airmen from the 104th Fighter Wing load equipment onto a 445th Airlift Wing C-17 Globemaster III. The C-17 departed Barnes Air National Guard Base March 14, 2018, in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. Once in theater, the cargo will be sent to multiple locations in support of exercises and training with our allies and partners.
New Gate Groundbreaking
The 88th Civil Engineer Group broke ground on a new Entry Control Point on the Northeast side of Area A, exiting on to State Road 235 in Fairborn. The new Entry Control Point will replace the current Gate 26A (445th Airlift Wing Gate) and commercial vehicle inspection point at Gate 16 to facilitate better traffic flow.Posted by Wright-Patterson AFB on Tuesday, March 20, 2018
SSgt Libya Binford, 445th MO/MXOS, attended the North College Hill Middle School Career Fair March 16 in Cincinnati, Ohio. SSgt Binford talked to the 11-13 yr olds about her military career in the Ohio Army National Guard and the Air Force Reserve. She let them try on her uniforms and talked about the various career fields in the Air Force.
