The 7th Mission Support Command deputy commander, COL Alexis Wells gave a brief welcome speech at the Regional Career Transition Summit held in Kaiserslautern late last week. The summit linked those transitioning out of military and government service with prospective employers, and offered guidance to service members looking toward a future in the civlian job market.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Military Officers Association of America, the USO, the Markham Group and a long list of other ogranizations teamed in the contribution of time and resources to make this a successful summit. The day-long event allowed more than 400 job seekers to visit with dozens of different companies and organizations on a hunt for new talent. (Photos by Sgt. 1st Class John Freese)
