Q. How long have you been in the Army?
A. Two years
Q. How did you prepare for the Division Best of Competition?
A. “Not really for a competition, but I prepared in terms of my role as a platoon leader, doing physical fitness at my company, physical fitness on my own, talking to more experienced Soldiers to get advice, engaging with the troops in my own platoon, and finding something to improve on every single day,” said Kim.
Q. What is your favorite part of the competition?
A. “I like the obstacle course, because you don’t always know what to expect and there’s a wide variety of physical exercises that you can do,” said Kim.
