CMSAF Kaleth O. Wright announced changes to enlisted professional military enhancement courses 14 and 15. These changes benefit the non-commissioned officers who make up the backbone of our United States Air Force.

Our joint partnerships make theTactical Combat Casualty Care course at MacDill unique. USCENTCOM United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) USSOCOM Care Coalition USAFRICOM.

This course was designed to teach medical personnel life-saving techniques and how to provide the most effective trauama care during combat.

Effective communication is a vital skill for Medical Airmen when it comes to conveying instructions to patients, relaying information to doctors, and ensuring tasks are done properly and in a timely fashion.

For lab technicians this skill is vital in keeping our Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines fit to fight.

The Tampa Bay community partnered with MacDill Air Force Base to put on a huge science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics event.

Over 1300 students experienced first-hand U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) applications of #STEAM concepts with live demonstrations from organizations like Air Mobility Command, SOFWERX and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

The event was designed to get young minds engaged and thinking about creative uses of STEAM for the United States Air Force.

Through combined efforts Team MacDill maintains the ability to respond to any major accident with precision and professionalism if called to do so.

The 6th Medical Group and Brandon Clinic will be closed April 17 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 and all day April 19 for official functions.

United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) kicks off heritage week with a command run on April 16th. Please expect possible traffic delays along the route around 6:00 a.m.
