Glenn Helwig, Firefighter Billy Hernandez, Firefighter Eric Flores, Firefighter Myron Coleman, MASN Kyle Shields, MA2 Calvin Johns, and Paul Wright. Bravo Zulu to AC3 William Collins who was frocked to his current rank during an awards ceremony this morning. AC1 Christopher Reed pinned on his new chevrons. Collins is a native of Columbia, SC, and has 4 years of Navy service.

Sailors straighten headstones at Old Bayview Cemetery this morning. More than 40 chief and first class petty officers from throughout NASCC undertook this project as an opportunity to help the community and honor veterans interred there.

Today we bid farewell to two Air Ops personnel -- Cory Wilson and Ryan Beaver. Wilson is a native of Falfurrias, Texas, and has been NAS Corpus Christi's BASH manager for the past 12 years. Beaver is an electronics technician who has been here since 2009. Prior to that, Beaver spent more than ten years in the U.S. Navy. His new job takes him to the FAA in Austin. Fair Winds and Following Seas! You both will be missed.

ABHC Joenique King is smiling brightly because she recently reenlisted in front of friends and family members. The Sarasota, Florida, native, has 16 years of U.S. Navy service and reenlisted for 4 more years. She has also accepted orders to USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), which will take her to San Diego, California. Bravo zulu!

Bravo zulu to AC1 Patrick Kiger who recently reenlisted in the U.S. Navy. LCDR John Woods, air traffic control facilities officer, served as the reenlising officer. Kiger, has 11.5 years of service, 3.5 of which have been with NASCC's air operations. The Newark, Ohio, native's orders will be sending him to NAS Meridian, Mississippi, this summer. Congratulations!
