In an effort to enhance safety, the speed limit is changing from 70 MPH to 55 MPH on Highway 83, from the southern edge of Ruthville all the way to Minot Air Force Base, effective today.

As of 5:00 a.m. April 6, road conditions for the Base are yellow. Highway 83 conditions are yellow. Please use caution on South bound lanes due to slippery conditions.

As of noon, March 30, 2018, the installation commander directs the following |

Category 1 [Storm Essential] and personnel will remain on duty / must depart from duty no later than 1500 Local or remain on duty as directed by unit leadership.
Category 2 [Mission Essential] personnel must depart from duty no later than 1430 Local.
Category 3 [Core Support] personnel must depart from duty no later than 1400 Local.
Category 4 [General Support] personnel must depart from duty no later than 1400 Local.

Due to road conditions and additional barriers positioned at the gates, personnel should exercise extreme caution when traveling off base.

Road conditions on base are YELLOW (cautious travel conditions); road conditions off base are YELLOW (cautious travel condition).
