"Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year, but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the kind of community you want to live in."
The 4th Security Forces Squadron and the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Department will conduct an internal exercise today. During this time, there will be an increased security forces and fire department presence around the installation.
Kids from the CDC and Youth Center decided to #PurpleUp in recognition of the Month of the Military Child. Why purple, you ask? Purple symbolizes all branches of the military as it is a combination of Army green, Navy, Coast Guard and Air Force blue, and Marine Corps red.
