One man's trash is another man's treasure. The #20thMaintenanceGroup #AirForceRepairEnhancementProgram team specializes in turning broken goods back into valuable assets, saving the United States Air Force time and money.

Team Shaw, the #20thMedGroup has heard your concerns about long lines and short hours at the Exchange pharmacy and has come up with a solution! Scheduled to begin Wednesday, April 25th prescription medication can be picked up at the script center any time the BX doors are open!

Snap a shot of this week’s #FlashbackFriday! The #RF101 sensor maintenance crews reload a 12 inch nose camera with film during the ‘60s.

Photographic film used to take hours to develop and had to be handled cautiously or the photo could be ruined. #Photography has developed greatly over the years, with technology able to snap a shot in a matter of seconds.

Today, #TeamShaw is able to capture photos in many different ways, from classic #cameras to #CellPhones and #drones.

Looking at options for child care? In addition to the #ChildDevelopmentCenter, the 20th Force Support Squadron provides various avenues for daycare through its Family Child Care programs, which provide flexible schedules for the unpredictable nature of #military lifestyles.

Happy #MilitaryMonday, Shaw Weasels!

Recently I spent some time with our 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron crash and recovery #Airmen to gain better insight on how they support the #TeamShaw mission. These Airmen provide urgent response to in-flight and ground emergencies, as well as rebuild main and nose landing gear tires. Keep up the great work, Weasels!

Attention #TeamShaw

Because of the impending severe weather, with the timing of the worst conditions forecasted between 4-6pm this evening, and the possibility of tornadic activity, the 5:00 pm Mass at Friendship chapel is canceled.

Friendship Chapel does not have the facilities to shelter in place in the event of a severe storm. All parishioners are urged to stay home, stay off the roads and stay safe!

Please let your friends and neighbors know about this cancellation.

Congrats to yesterdays #AFCENT quarterly award winners!

With the start of mosquito season, this week's #FlashbackFriday focuses on helping #TeamShaw members protect themselves from the potentially virus-carying insects.

Mosquitos have the potential to carry viruses that can be harmful to humans, such as the Zika virus.

The best way to prevent the spread of these viruses is to keep the mosquito population under control. #ShawAFB members can minimize their risk of coming in contact with potentially dangerous insect-transmitted viruses by eliminating sources of stagnant water, installing fine screens of doors and windows, wearing insect repellant, as well as donning slosely-woven, heavy fabrics, such as denim jeans, when outdoors.
