AF Summer Camp Registration Extended!
Camps are FREE for Air Force, Air National Guard, and Air Force
Reserve families as well as Active Duty Military assigned to/living
on/working on an AF led installation, AF Retired, AF APF and NAF
Civilian Employees. Spaces are available at the following camps
and registration will remain open until spaces are filled so parents
are encouraged to apply quickly.

Members with the 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and the 59th Medical Wing, JBSA-Lackland, Texas welcome an Influencer tour, July 12, 2018, hosted by Headquarters Air Force Recruiting Service.

The 59th Critical Care Air Transport Team demonstrated to the group how they provide specialized care to wounded warriors who are in critical condition; ensuring patients are safely transported to hospitals.

During the 2018 Armed Forces Voters Week, which runs June 27-July 5, the JBSA Military & Family Readiness Centers will host voter information tables at various locations to provide patrons with the Federal Post Card Applications, Federal Write-in Absentee Ballots (SF-186), along with other resource materials. Catch the Voting Assistance Office personnel from the Military & Family Readiness Center at the local Base Exchange, Commissary, Fitness Centers , and other various locations during the voters emphasis week. The Alamo Top Three will be hosting their second NCO/SNCO Recognition Ceremony on Sat., July 14, at 2 p.m. in the Gaylor NCO Auditorium.

All NCOs promoted to Staff Sergeant and SNCOs promoted to Master Sergeant between Jan. 1, 2018 and June 30, 2018 are eligible to participate. Commanders, Chiefs, First Sergeants, and unit members are encouraged to attend. Family members are welcomed to join in the celebration as well. Dress will be uniform of the day.

The Air Force Reserve Command is expanding the Aviation Bonus Program to qualifying Air Reserve Technicians (ART) as part of an effort to increase rated-aircrew retention.

Cadets from the Three Rivers Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol from Grape Creek, Texas along with cadets from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado visited the wing recently.
