This year marks the 68th anniversary of the beginning of the Korean War. This year, at MacArthur Park in Little Rock, the Arkansas National Guard and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, honored the men and women who sacrificed their lives during the #KoreanWar with a wreath-laying ceremony and guest speaker #KoreanWarVeteran, Walter Rhodes, at the Korean War Memorial located at MacArthur Park, in Litttle Rock, Ark.

Friends, family and coworkers gathered at Kordsmeier Hall on Tuesday June 19, 2018 to celebrate Michael Henderson's promotion to Colonel in the Arkansas National Guard.

Henderson currently serves as the G3 Operations Officer for the Arkansas Army National Guard.

The ceremony was officiated by Col. Kevin Vines, Director of the Joint Staff.

ROBINSON MANEUVER TRAINING CENTER, N. Little Rock, Ark. — 35 Soldiers with F Company, 2-211th GSAB (Air Traffic Services) said goodbye to friends, family and co-workers on Sunday June 17, 2018 as they left Camp Robinson on a 9-month deployment to the Middle East.

Pre-deployment training will be conducted at Fort Hood, TX.

Brig. Gen. Kirk Van Pelt and Col. Rob Lashbrook presided of the ceremony and Chaplain Shane Crawford gave the invocation and benediction.

Arkansas National Guardsmen from the 2nd battalion, 142 Field Artillery Brigade, fire their M109A6 Paladins during maneuver training at Camp Guernsey, Wyoming. The artillery battalion, headquartered in Barling, Arkansas, is participating in a large scale training exercise named Operation Western Strike. The M109A6 is a self propelled #155-mm Howitzer cannon, capable of delivering accurate predictive fires out to a distance of approximately 18 miles.

The Coast Guard came out on the Arkansas River in downtown Little Rock to show their nautical skills today!

The Coast Guard and crews from Arkansas National Guard's G Company, 1-168th MEDEVAC conducted water rescue training to enhance their ability to jointly respond to any emergencies that may arise. Semper Paratus!
