Basic Leader Course 008-18 graduated yesterday at a ceremony at Camp Blanding's 211th Regiment - Florida RTI. During the graduation, the students and cadre paid tribute to their fallen comrade, Spc. Calyn McLemore. Calyn was our brother, and we will never forget him.
We are deeply saddened to announce that Specialist Calyn McLemore was found deceased in a wooded area on Camp Blanding earlier this evening. Our hearts go out to his loved ones as they endure this unimaginable tragedy. Calyn was an accomplished and motivated soldier, and his loss will no doubt be felt deeply by his family, friends, unit and community. We want to thank all of the organizations and volunteers that assisted in the search, and ask for your continued prayers for his family.
We are continuing the search for Calyn McLemore, the Alabama Reservist who went missing on Camp Blanding during a training exercise Wednesday. Please send your prayers and support to the searchers and the Soldier’s family.
CBJTC celebrated the Army’s 243rd birthday with a traditional cake cutting ceremony hosted by the AUSA First Militia Chapter.
The Camp Blanding ID office has temporarily moved from bldg 3121 to bldg 2116 on Gainseville Street. Parking is in the grass across
from the building. We re open at 0800 on Wednesday April 11, 2018.
Office hours are still as usual Tuesday thru Friday 0800-1600. We are not open on any weekends.
The Camp Blanding ID office will be closed on Tuesday April 10, 2018 for computer maintenance.
When visiting the Camp Blanding ID office, please make sure you bring two forms of UNEXPIRED ID other than your CAC or dependent card. This will assure issuance of a renewal ID card for you. Be patient as we sometimes have long wait times ,and we are doing our best to help everyone in a timely manner.

Friday January 26, 2018 the Camp Blanding ID office is unable to service CAC cards due to technical difficulties. This is a nationwide issue, soso it effects every ID site. Brig. Gen. Trey Chauncey The Assistant Adjutant General-Army, Training Installations and Programs FLNG, was the guest speaker at the Veterans Day ceremony today. All branches of service and service members who were present were recognized and thanked by the General and Post Commander Col. Matt Johnson.
