"First and foremost, we have to do a better job at keeping the team informed—sharing our progress, responding to feedback, and adjusting course based on thoughtful inputs from the deckplates," Vice Chief of Naval Operations, Adm. Bill Moran
Team, we're laser-focused on increasing our U.S. Navy's warfighting lethality to maintain maritime superiority. A strong demonstration is the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC), which just started the at-sea phase of the world's largest international maritime exercise. Operating with 25 nations, 46 ships, five submarines, 200 aircraft, and 25,000 personnel in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California is a powerful reminder of our priority to deepen alliances and strengthen partnerships. In this new era of Great Power Competition, it's critical that we operate with like-minded nations, so thanks to everyone involved. #RIMPAC #RIMPAC2018 #CapableAdaptivePartners
Team, tonight please observe a moment of silence as ENS Sarah Mitchell returns home to her family. She and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Team, thank you to everyone who sent in questions during our Facebook Live All Hands Call with Chief of Naval Personnel - N1 Vice Adm. Robert Burke. This is a great forum to address your feedback. We covered a lot of material during our event and for those who couldn't join us, you can watch it online below. I look forward to doing more of these in the future.
