More than 60 NCOs were selected by their commanders to attend this week's additional duty first sergeant symposium. The students received briefings from Nellis first sergeants and support agencies integral to the health and welfare of the Air Force. Often, first sergeants are charged with single-handedly supporting squadrons with more than 200 Airmen. These students can now relieve these first sergeants and allow for rest and recuperation. Before wrapping up the symposium with a cookout, students and first sergeants dispersed across Nellis, providing random acts of kindness, made possible by a $2,000 donation from Operation Warmheart.
