Check out how the #20thAMXS continues to embrace #TeamShaws priorities by always being ready for the next fight, continuing to #innovate and balancing today’s readiness with tomorrow’s modernization.

#TeamShaw's #F16 Fighting Falcon pilots could not tackle their missions without support from the ground. At #ShawAFB, #Airmen assigned to the 20th Equipment Maintenance Squadron conventional maintenance flight work day and night to ensure aviators have all the ammunition they need to hone their skills. *#fAMMOly

This week's #WeaseloftheWeek is Linda Fricke, a 20th Force Support Squadron accounting technician. Fricke managed Carolina Pines Inn funds, validating and processing $514,000 in revenue, with no errors. Fricke ensures inbound service members and their families have a place to stay upon arrival, providing a smooth transition for #TeamShaw weasels. #BestFSSintheUSAF

Before #ShawAFB was formed, one man did everything to show his #Determination, #Commitment and #UncommonPatriotism. Take a minute today to reflect on 1st Lt. Ervin David Shaw, our base's namesake and a City of Sumter, South Carolina, native, who died 100 years ago today during World War I. #TeamShaw

Tonight while fireworks light up the night sky #TeamShaw, remember that for 242 years, the sacrifice and service of #America's brave men and women has built the legacy on which we now stand. Just as our country looks to the sky with awe and wonder this #fourthofjuly, know that they look at you in much the same way EVERY day of the year.

Happy #Independenceday, #Airmen.
